FLL To Address Global Climate Solutions
With an estimated 135,000 children, representing 40 countries, and ranging in age from 9 to 14, this year's FIRST LEGO League Challenge, "Climate Connections", is expected to be the largest to date! The President's Circle
For the second year running, FIRST is inviting teams to produce a YouTube video on how they would help recruit and support rookie teams during this year's competition season. The President's Circle is a competition encouraging teams to develop a 30 or 60-second video/TV ad that will persuade students to start a FIRST team. Attention 2008 FLL Teams!
While assembling this year's Climate Connections Mission Model Set for shipping, three elements were inadvertently left out. The error was caught before any sets were mailed to teams, but not in time to include the missing elements inside the shipping box. Instead, a small bag with the missing elements is included inside the packing slip pouch on the side of the Mission Model Set box. Power Puzzle Logo
Just a note to all you FLL teams out there, this year’s Power Puzzle logo is available for download on the FIRST LEGO League site. FIRST LEGO League Alert!
A quick reminder to all teams interested in taking part in this year’s FLL competition, registration is coming to a close. This year the cut off point for North America is set at 6,700 teams and as of September 17th, 5,626 teams have already secured their spots. We would like to encourage the remaining interested teams to sign up as soon as possible. Don’t miss out on what is sure to be an exciting competition!
